New agricultural machinery dealer in Poltava focuses on service and quick return of machines to the field

A new agricultural machinery dealer, the company “Agregat”, has been launched in Poltava. It was founded by Artem Omelianenko, owner of the agricultural company “Mayak”, and his partner Roman Stepanovych. The company will sell and service Fendt, Maschio Gaspardo, and Weidemann machinery in the Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, according to Latifundist.com.

“Just like other farmers, I buy tractors, seeders, and equipment from various brands. However, after the purchase, the service can often be substandard or completely absent, and one might have to wait for spare parts for a week, two, or three. This is unacceptable to us. That’s why the idea to create something of our own arose,” — shared Artem Omelianenko.

The new dealer will place a primary emphasis on after-sales service. Since March, “Agregat” has been operating as a Fendt service partner. Currently, the company services over 100 units of equipment and employs five service engineers.

The team also works on weekends and aims not just to respond to inquiries but to resolve the client’s issue within 24 hours.

“We are building the company around service. To achieve this, we are investing in mobile service vehicles, team training, equipment, and analytics of each engineer’s performance. Our objective is not merely to receive a request but to get the machinery back into operation as swiftly as possible,” — explained Roman Stepanovych.

Poltava will serve as the central hub for “Agregat,” where the administrative and service teams, as well as the spare parts warehouse, are already concentrated. The company has temporary service centers and plans to fully launch centers in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions by the end of the year.

Additionally, the construction of a new service center is planned to commence in Poltava this year. It will feature repair bays, training rooms for machine operators, a spare parts warehouse, and an exhibition area.

Anton Kostyrko, Marketing Director of AGCO in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, noted that the manufacturer carefully selects its dealers, as a partner must not only sell equipment but also support the farmer throughout its entire operational life.

“We are quite selective in choosing our partners. The “Agregat” team understands the agricultural business from the inside: these individuals comprehend what happens in the field, how costly equipment downtime can be, and why service is needed not in a few days, but right now. For us, dealership is not just about ‘buy and sell,’ but about long-term relationships with the farmer. Our principle is ‘Farmer First,’ and we see that “Agregat” shares this approach,” — said Kostyrko.

According to him, the new dealer is expected to strengthen Fendt’s presence in the Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

At the opening of "Avantgard"

Olena Bogacheva, Director of “Maschio Gaspardo Ukraine,” explained that when selecting a new dealer, the company considered the team’s experience, their approach to service, and their readiness to operate in the designated regions.

“It is important for us that the dealer understands the specificities of the local farmers’ work and can ensure not only the sale of equipment but also subsequent maintenance and the availability of spare parts. These are the capabilities we evaluated when choosing a partner,” — she stated.
