The halt in maritime rapeseed exports from Ukraine to Europe and delays in deliveries from local farmers have intensified demand for rapeseed from European processors, writes Grain Trade.
November rapeseed futures on the Euronext exchange in Paris rose by 3.9% over the week to 533.25 €/ton or $617/ton (-3.3% over two weeks, +2% over the month), supported by rising oil prices.
Demand prices for rapeseed delivered to EU plants in August-September remained at 500-520 €/ton, but receiving capacity is limited.

In Ukraine, domestic demand prices for rapeseed have stabilized amid active procurement by processors and export demand at the western border.
Throughout the week, demand prices from processors remained at 19,500-21,500 UAH/ton with delivery to plants, while exporters shipping rapeseed from domestic elevators to western terminals offered 20,000-21,500 UAH/ton EXW-elevators.
Amid limited demand at the western border, demand prices were 540-560 $/ton DAP, export demand prices for rapeseed in the Danube and Black Sea ports were declared at 470-490 $/ton or 20,500-21,500 UAH/ton, and for delivery to terminals at the western border – at 450-480 $/ton or 20,500-21,500 UAH/ton.
