Small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine can have up to 25% of their investment costs reimbursed through a grant program from the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE). The maximum grant amount is €100,000, as reported by ProCredit Bank.
The program is designed for enterprises that are investing in the development, modernization, or recovery of their business. Funding can be utilized for the acquisition of fixed assets as well as for working capital replenishment.
Companies in the agricultural sector, manufacturing and processing enterprises, and other small and medium-sized business representatives are eligible to participate in the program.
The grant is disbursed upon securing loan financing and fulfilling the program’s conditions. It covers a portion of the incurred investment expenses, thereby reducing the financial burden during the implementation of investment projects.
As noted by ProCredit Bank, the program is particularly relevant for farmers who are updating their equipment before the harvest or seeking financing to prepare for the autumn sowing campaign.
The program offers long-term lending, the flexibility to adjust repayment schedules to business seasonality, and the possibility to combine financing with the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%”.
