As of August 10, 2026, agricultural producers in the territory controlled by Ukraine have threshed 5.63 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops, representing 49% of the projected area. They have harvested 26.13 million tons of grain with an average yield of 4.64 t/ha.
Wheat Harvested from 79% of Areas
Wheat remains the primary crop of the harvest. As of the reporting date, it has been threshed from 4.07 million hectares, or 79% of the projected area. A total of 19.74 million tons have been harvested at an average yield of 4.85 t/ha.
The highest wheat yield indicators are currently recorded in the central and western regions.
Top 5 Regions by Wheat Yield:
- Khmelnytskyi — 7.23 t/ha: 135.6 thousand hectares threshed, 980 thousand tons harvested, 62% of projected area completed;
- Vinnytsia — 6.29 t/ha: 186.9 thousand hectares, 1.18 million tons, 59%;
- Ternopil — 6.25 t/ha: 141.21 thousand hectares, 882.1 thousand tons, 78%;
- Kyiv — 6.14 t/ha: 183.1 thousand hectares, 1.125 million tons, 91%;
- Chernivtsi — 5.76 t/ha: 24.2 thousand hectares, 139.3 thousand tons, 81%.
Consequently, the highest wheat yield is currently in Khmelnytskyi region — 7.23 t/ha, while the largest gross harvest among the regions in the top 5 for yield was achieved in Vinnytsia region — 1.18 million tons.

Barley Threshed from 86% of Areas
Agricultural producers have harvested barley from 1.29 million hectares, or 86% of the projected area. A total of 5.68 million tons have been threshed at an average yield of 4.41 t/ha.
Peas have been threshed from 276.93 thousand hectares (93%), yielding 712.32 thousand tons with a yield of 2.57 t/ha.
Rapeseed: Almost 1.2 Million Hectares Harvested
As of August 10, winter and spring rapeseed have been threshed from 1.19 million hectares, or 89% of the projected area. The gross harvest amounts to 3.22 million tons, with an average yield of 2.71 t/ha.
